Atascadero news source A-Town Daily News celebrates first birthday
News site established in 2015 brings local news to Atascadero residents daily
–The leading online Atascadero newspaper A-Town Daily News celebrated its first birthday this month. The news website was established in June 2015 to bring news to readers in the Atascadero area on a daily basis.
A-Town Daily News is a subsidiary of Access Publishing, which has been operating Paso Robles Daily News since 2012. Due to the success of its primary site and positive feedback from the community, the idea to launch A-Town Daily News was formed.
Access Publishing CEO Scott Brennan announced the site has over 600 daily email subscribers, 3090 followers on Facebook, over 170,000 page views and over 30 local news stories published every week. “Since its establishment it has become the most comprehensive news source for Atascadero,” he said. “We started A-Town Daily News to deliver news the way readers want it: timely, online, on Facebook, and for free.”
“’A-Town’ is an endearing local nickname for Atascadero that residents have been using for decades,” Brennan said. “We’re proud of what we’ve done with A-Town Daily News. Atascadero has so much happening within its community. Our team is excited to be able to provide a dedicated source for Atascadero news.”
