Austin joins Rick Goree State Farm Insurance

The Rick Goree State Farm Insurance Agency announced this week that Kim Austin has joined their team as a new account manager at their growing Paso Robles insurance office. “With more than twenty years’ experience in recruiting, business development and networking, Kim brings a new energy to our agency,” says owner Rick Goree. “Her focus will be on commercial lines, helping business owners create the right policies for their particular business. We are excited to say that Kim is here to help take our agency to the next level in meeting the needs of our business community.”
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Austin and her family moved to her husband’s hometown of Atascadero eight years ago and recently purchased a home in Paso Robles. She spent the last three years with the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce as director of operations. She has five years previous experience working with Business Networking International, the largest business networking organization of its type in the world. She was a director and trainer of 13 BNI chapters in this area.
Some of Austin’s activities outside the office include being an ambassador with the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, teaching business networking classes, serving as chairman of Teens Giving Back non-profit organization, and being a volunteer coordinator with Operation Surf.
