Author Ed Cobleigh to discuss storytelling at Studios on the Park

Community invited to attend free presentation

Studios on the Park will host a free forum presentation with author Ed Cobleigh as part of its ongoing Arts Around Us program.

The event, titled “Arts Around Us: The Art of Storytelling in Books,” is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 18, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Studios on the Park, located at 1130 Pine St. in Paso Robles.

The Arts Around Us program offers insight into diverse art forms within the community and highlights the role of creative collaboration. This presentation will focus on storytelling in books.

During the open forum, Cobleigh will discuss how to transition a story, memoir or idea into a book intended for readers. “Different types of books require different types of art,” Cobleigh said.

Cobleigh has served as a fighter pilot with the United States Air Force, the United States Navy, the Royal Air Force, the Iranian Air Force, and the French Air Force. He also served as an intelligence officer working with the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the British intelligence service on covert operations. His two memoirs reached No. 1 on Amazon’s bestseller list.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP by emailing contact@studiosonthepark.org or calling (805) 238-9800.

Studios on the Park is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing creative, educational, and transformational experiences that enhance understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. The organization makes the creative process available to the public through programs and events held at its Paso Robles location.
