Hope Family Wines hosted its 7th annual Bacon & Wine pairing event on Saturday afternoon at its recently expanded westside Paso Robles tasting room.

Hundreds of bacon lovers packed the winery to sample the Hope family’s wines and several culinary delights featuring bacon and ham. The bacon creations were catered by Gregg Wangard and Paso Robles Public Schools’ Culinary Arts Academy.

Favorites included an Iceberg Wedge with sweet bacon and buttermilk dressing paired with Treana Chardonnay; Bacon-Dusted Potato Chips paired with Treana White; Bacon Carbonara paired with Treana Red; sausages, jalapeno bacon and Bacon Cake Pops for dessert.

Hope Family Wines consists of five brands: Liberty School, Treana, Candor, Austin Hope, Troublemaker. The winery specializes in blends and varieties from its vineyards of cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot, mourvedre and grenache.

Hope Family Wines is located at 1585 Live Oak Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446, (805) 238-4112.
