Bands sought for Templeton summer concerts in the park series
Applications for bands are due by Monday, Jan. 27
– Templeton Recreation has announced that it is accepting applications from bands interested in performing at its 2025 Concerts in the Park summer series. The popular event draws more than 1,000 community members to Templeton Park each Wednesday evening to enjoy live music.
The concert series will run from June 11 to Aug. 20, with no concert scheduled for July 23. The department is seeking 10 bands to headline the series, with a variety of musical styles to entertain the crowd.
Applications for bands are due by Monday, Jan. 27. Interested bands can find the application link at www.templetoncsd.org.
To apply, bands must submit an electronic press kit or physical press kit that includes links, photos, videos, and cover demos. Additionally, applicants must provide a two-hour set list to showcase their musical style.
The Templeton Recreation Concerts Band Selection Committee will begin reviewing applications and securing performers on Jan. 28.
