Barbara Morris dies at 87

–Barbara Morris, 87, of Paso Robles, died peacefully at home on Friday April 29, 2016. Barbara was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 19, 1928 to Clarence and Ivy (Coffin) Metzinger. She graduated from Monticello High School and Ivy Tech School of Nursing.

Barbara and her husband Dr. Warren Morris lived and practiced in Monticello, Indiana until their retirement. Their practice was the hub of their life. They were devoted to their patients and their community. Upon retirement they moved to California to be near their daughter. They then moved to Texas, Arizona, and back to Paso Robles where they spent most of their retired life.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Warren V. Morris. She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy (Pat) Beimford of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Cindy (Steve) Hattersley of Chualar California; grandaughters Lisa Beimford Poniewaz, Marcy Beimford, Jenna Hattersley Tehranchi, and grandson Colin Hattersley. Barb’s beloved dog Casey also survives. The family wishes to thank Wilshire Hospice and her friends and neighbors who were so helpful in her time of need.
