BarrelHouse Brewing’s 10th annual Oktoberfest returns to Tin City

Event includes biergarten access, live music, games, and food

    – BarrelHouse Brewing Co. will host its 10th annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at its Paso Robles location in Tin City.

The event will feature exclusive access to the Oktoberfest Biergarten, a festival-style experience with live music, games, and giveaways. Each ticket includes an Oktoberfest stein and first beer fill. Brass Mash will perform, and specialty food vendors will offer Oktoberfest-themed items for purchase. Additional activities will include axe-throwing and festival games.

Tickets begin at $25 and include entry, a stein, and the first beer. VIP tables for up to eight guests are available for $325, including table service, appetizers, and a premium experience. Tickets are available at barrelhousebrewing.com.

“Oktoberfest has always been one of our biggest celebrations in Paso Robles,” said BarrelHouse Brewing Co. events manager McKenna MacLean. “We’re combining great beer, music, and community into a festival that embodies what BarrelHouse is all about. We’ve grown this from a fun local gathering into the largest Oktoberfest party on the Central Coast. Our team can’t wait to raise a stein with the community that’s made it all possible.”

The taproom will remain open to the public, but tickets are required for the Oktoberfest Biergarten. The event will take place at BarrelHouse Brewing Co., 3055 Limestone Way, Paso Robles.

BarrelHouse Brewing Co. was founded in 2013 by co-owners Jason Carvalho and Kevin Nickell, along with Chris Vaughn. The brewery operates with the mission of “Good People. Good Times. Great Beer.” It is the largest American-owned and operated craft brewery in San Luis Obispo County.

“Being an American, family-owned business is something that we take pride in,” said Jason Carvalho, president of BarrelHouse Brewing Co. “In an ever-changing craft beer landscape of sellouts and mergers, we retain our independence. Our people are passionate about our mission and we are just getting started.”

The brewery produces year-round beers including Standard Lager, Sunny Daze, Mango IPA, West Coast IPA, Hazed and Confused, and Big Sur Double IPA. Small-batch taproom-only beers are released monthly at its locations in Paso Robles, Visalia and Fresno. BarrelHouse also produces barrel-aged beers under its Salvaje de Robles and Reservado de Robles series.

This fall, BarrelHouse plans to open its newest taproom in Bakersfield, its largest to date. The company has also announced a new production facility at The Hangar in east Paso Robles, scheduled to open next year.
