Bauer/Speck Elementary Hosts 20th Agricultural Day
The twentieth annual Agriculture Day will be held at Bauer-Speck Arts Magnet Elementary School on Friday, March 20, from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
Twenty presentations are scheduled from people of the local agricultural community who have volunteered their time to introduce students and teachers to all aspects of Agriculture.
The wide variety of agricultural occupations practiced in the Paso Robles area will be showcased by guest speakers representing the area’s varied agricultural industry.
Students in kindergarten through grade five will have the opportunity to see displays of animals, equipment, food, and plants. Demonstrations and hands-on activities are planned for all classes.
Agriculture Day is intended to give Bauer-Speck students and teachers a better appreciation of the vital role agriculture plays in our lives.
All station presentations are linked to earth, life, and physical science standards. Also fine arts activities will be featured showcasing the school as a Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Magnet school.
