Comment: Senior Khylah McKee and Sophomore Presley Heinbach had an absolutely incredible game vs. San Luis Obispo last week. A bitter fight to the end. Sometimes the best games don’t end in a win but end with the growth in a team that is immeasurable. Both of these ladies fought hard and pulled strength and determination from within, and I absolutely could not be more proud of the game that they played. Above all, they valued sportsmanship and kept the Bearcat Spirit with each point. They took the Varsity 2’s team from SLOHS to 3 sets when they fell 15 to 17 after the toughest battle we have seen all year. I couldn’t ask for more heart than these two gave last Thursday!

Comment: Izzy has been an amazing athlete throughout this season. She is constantly striving to better herself as an athlete on our roster and is always open to trying new skills. She has shown tremendous progress as a base and tumbler, but also is not afraid to get into the air as a flyer when needed. She is only a freshman this season and we cannot wait to see where her future as a Bearcat takes her!
