Bearcat swim beats Pioneer Valley

-At the first home meet of the season, the Paso Bearcats took on Pioneer Valley. While the final score was lopsided, Pioneer Valley showed a lot of heart and promise for the future.

Standouts for the meet include Abby Spring who dropped 20 seconds in her 200 IM, Zach Tucker who dropped a second in the 25 free (24.5), and Tyler Seidel dropped two seconds in the 100 Fly. John “Tre” Eade, Nolan Rumph, and Sebastian Scott all dropped a second in their respective events. The final results were, varsity boys: PR 85 – PV 15; varsity girls: PR 86 – PV 15; JV boys: PR 47 – PV 10, JV girls: PR 54 – PV 31.

Tomorrow, Mar. 24 is the Annual Alumni Swim Meet at the Paso Robles Municipal Pool from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and a BBQ 12 p.m. It will be a great event for all to come out and celebrate the Bearcat’s final season at the Municipal Pool.
