Bearcats advance to water polo quarterfinals 

Paso Robles girls take on Webb in Arroyo Grande Saturday afternoon

Bearcats football paso robles–The players on the Paso Robles High School girls’ water polo team are set to face Webb Schools on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Arroyo Grande High School in the 2017 Division 6 CIF Round 2/Quarterfinal Playoffs. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m.

The Bearcats earned the quarterfinals spot after traveling to Savanna High School on Thursday for round one of CIF Southern Section Division 6 play offs where they claimed a 17-8 victory.

Freshman Tatiana Smeltzer led the Bearcats with seven goals. Her sister, senior Marina Smeltzer, followed up with five of her own. Senior Miranda Pasky and sophomore Mackenzie Raymond scored two goals apiece, and senior Veronica Ayala added with one goal to the totals.

With the win, the Paso Robles girls are 17-10 on the season before playing the Webb Schools Gauls from Claremount on Saturday.
