Bearcats baseball team traveling to Bakersfield Saturday
–The Paso Robles Bearcat baseball team has a game scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at Bakersfield High School. It’s the first game of the season under first year head coach Jonathon Thornhill, who coached the Atascadero Greyhounds to a successful season last year. Thornhill took over after Derek Stroud retired as coach.
The Templeton Eagles girls soccer team beat Orcutt Academy 4-3 in double overtime. The team finishes the regular season by winning the Ocean League with a conference record of 9-1. Overall, they’re 16-4-2. They will advance to the Central Section-CIF Playoffs.
The Templeton boys soccer team beat Orcutt Academy 5-0. The boys also win the Ocean League with a record of 10-2. Overall, their record is 16-8. They won their final six games by a combined score of 23-4. They will advance to the Central Section- CIF Playoffs.
