Bearcats beat Riverside 

–The Paso Robles Bearcat baseball team beat Poly (Riverside) 3-0 Monday night the second round of the CIF Play-offs. Senior starting pitcher Nolan Binkele held Poly scoreless over seven innings. The Bearcats scored three runs in the first inning with a hit and two errors by Poly.

Coach Derek Stroud says that Nolan Binkele has thrown some great games in his career, but yesterday’s game was one of his best.

The Bearcats will host a third round playoff game Friday night at Barnhart Field. Attendance is free.
