    Bearcats compete at state track and field championship

    –Two Bearcats reached the finals of the California High School State Track and Field Championship.

    Senior Trad Berti finished 7th in the Boys 1600 with a time of 4:13.48. Berti has committed to attend Chico State in the fall.

    Senior Annie Meeder finished 14th in the Girls 3200. Her time was 10;47.73. Meeder plans to attend Cal Poly.

    Codie Wilshusen jumped 11’6″ in the pole vault, but did not qualify for the finals. She finished 19th in the state. She has not yet decided where she’ll attend college. San Luis Obispo distance runner Callum Bolger won the Boys 3200 in 8:53.91. Bolger will run next year for Stanford.
