Bearcats host Arroyo Grande Eagles
–The Paso Robles Bearcats host the Arroyo Grande Eagles tonight at War Memorial Stadium. Tonight is Homecoming for Paso Robles. Many illustrious Bearcats are expected to attend, including Supervisor Frank Mecham, Dale Gomer, and Norma Moy, who was a cheerleader for the Bearcats in the ’50’s.
The Bearcats (5-1) are coming off a 50-36 loss to Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth, their first defeat of the season. Arroyo Grande (5-1) has not lost since it’s opening game against Lompoc (28-14.) The Eagles have beat two teams from Bakersfield, Garces and Independence.
Tonight’s game is the first conference game for each team.
Kick-off is at 7 p.m. at War Memorial Stadium in Paso Robles.
The game will be broadcast on am 1230 KPRL beginning at 6:30 and 98.1 KJUG.
