Bearcats sports update
–On Wednesday, women’s basketball defeated Santa Maria HS at all (3) levels. Varsity won 51-37, JV won, and Freshman won 63-16. Jacey Loewen (14 points) and Jenelle Loewen (13 points) led the Bearcats in points.
Freshman soccer played on Wednesday as well in San Luis Obispo. Freshman girls lost 0-3. Freshman boys won 3-2.
On Thursday night freshman soccer teams hosted Riverdale High School. Freshman girls defeated their JV team 4-0 Freshman boys tied their JV team 1-1.
On Friday, the varsity women’s basketball team plays Oceanside at Atascadero High School beginning at 5:30 p.m., and varsity men’s basketball team plays Templeton at Morro Bay High School beginning at 4 p.m
All other winter sport teams will be traveling Friday and Saturday for tournament competition.
