–Paso Robles Bearcat Boy’s water polo picked up another win on Wednesday night against league opponent Pioneer Valley. Paso beat the Panthers 12-6. Tre Eade led all scorers with four goals and Sebastian Scott was the second-highest scorer on the day with three goals. Zane Warren secured the cage with 12 saves in the contest.
The Bearcat boys are now 15-6 overall and have an Ocean League record of 6-0. The boys head to Clovis West this Friday for the Golden Eagle Challenge.
The women’s volleyball team defeated Atascadero HS last night & on senior night. In addition, the freshman girls still remain undefeated.
In women’s tennis, the Lady Bearcats had a home match against the Warriors. Paso came out fighting and beat the Righetti Warriors for the second time in league play 7-2. Strong singles play started the day for the Bearcats, going 5-1 after that round. Paso’s number 1 and 2 players, Patrica Slason and Cahryn Payne, both beat their opponents after previously dropping their matches in the first round of league play. It was a strong day on Court Bearcat for Paso. Doubles picked up two more wins, going 2-1 for the day. Next up for Paso is senior day on Thursday when the Bearcats host St Joeseph. Paso’s Number 1 Patricia Slason is the only senior and team captain and will be recognized that day.
