Bearcats track team competes against San Luis Obispo

–Bearcats track athletes competed against San Luis Obispo in Paso Robles last week. Although they didn’t win, almost all of the runners ran faster than they did last weekend on the same course, according to Coach Cara Karamitsos.

Below are the scores:

Men’s Scores:
Paso Robles: 43
San Luis Obispo: 19

Women’s Scores:
Paso Robles: 33
San Luis Obispo: 24

There is an upcoming dual meet in Arroyo Grande happening Saturday, March 20 at Arroyo Grande High School.

 

Bearcat water polo update

The Bearcat boys varsity water polo team suffered a loss to Santa Ynez on Wednesday, March 10. The final score was 13-8 in favor of the Pirates.

At the end of the first quarter, Paso trailed 1-2. Paso continued to trail heading into the second half, down 4-5. The Bearcats scored in the first 15 seconds of the third quarter to tie up the game before allowing for unanswered goals. Paso was unable to refind their footing in the game after that. Paso was led by Reily Lowry who scored three goals. Tre Eade and Cody Domingos each added two and Michael Brown rounded out the Bearcats scorers with one goal.
