Paso Robles boys’ volleyball update

– The Paso Robles Bearcats boys’ volleyball team traveled to St. Joeseph High School on Tuesday and faced the league-leading Knights. The Bearcats could not get off the starting block and spotted the Knights an early set one lead, and the Bearcats kept playing from behind the whole evening. The youth and inexperience of the Bearcats were evident again, as it took a moment for the nerves to settle down and for them to come into form. The Bearcats made sets two and three more competitive, but the Knights just had a bit too much firepower.

The Bearcats will host Orcutt Academy back in Gil Asa Gym on Thursday (3/24) at 6 p.m.

Set review:

  • 15-25
  • 19-25
  • 19-25

Paso Robles is 4-2 in league and 4-5 overall this season.

JV update

The JV Bearcats team traveled to Templeton for a match-up against the Eagles. The JV Bearcats spotted the Eagles set one 19-25. Then they found their mojo and beat the Eagles 25-12 and 15-8 in set three, for a 2-1 victory! Congrats to the JV Bearcats for a hard-earned win

The JV Bearcats will host Pioneer Valley back in Gil Asa Gym on Thursday at 5 p.m.
