Beaverstock raises $16,700 for Templeton Education Foundation

2015 Music Festival Hits New Fundraising and Attendance RecordsBeaverstock entrance

–Beaverstock, the annual fall music festival hosted by Castoro Cellars, donated $16,700 to the Templeton Education Foundation. The festival saw a record attendance in its third year, receiving over 4,000 guests. The foundation provided more than 70 volunteers and staff for the annual September festival held in the meadow of Castoro’s Whale Rock Vineyard in Paso Robles.

This year’s line-up showcased over 13 bands from near and far with headliners Dawes and War. The festival also featured local craft breweries, hard cider, Castoro Cellars wine and several food vendors. Beaverstock offered a family-friendly range of activities that included local artists, yoga, children’s play areas, crafts and lawn games.

Proceeds from the festival – $16,700 – went to the Templeton Education Foundation (TEF).

In 1983, Niels and Bimmer Udsen founded Castoro Cellars. In 2013, Beaverstock was created as a way to commemorate and celebrate 30 years in business. The foundation is a non-profit organization that directly benefits the students in the Templeton Unified School District where both Niels and Bimmer’s sons Max and Luke attended from first grade through high school graduation.

Beaverstock 2016 is set for September 17-18.

Castoro Cellars is located at 1315 North Bethel Road, Templeton. For more information visit www.castorocellars.com or call (805) 238-0725.
