Big Brothers Big Sisters receives a $1,500 grant

–Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County received a $1,500 grant from The Albertsons Companies Foundation, bringing the company’s total donations to almost $40,000. Their funding will go towards the agency’s programs, providing one-to-one mentoring relationships for children throughout San Luis Obispo County.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Albertsons Companies Foundation and their commitment to empowering the futures of SLO County children through our proven, life-changing mentoring program,” Sarah Rudd, Senior Program Director said.

“It is a privilege and Pleasure to give back to such a great organization!” said Tim Krauk, General Manager of Vons San Luis Obispo, “We’ve been a partner with them for over 12 years and we look forward to many more!”Big Brothers Big Sisters does a tremendous job laying the foundation for a better future community.”
