Bonnie Sadkin Snow dies at 65

how to write an obituary–Bonnie Sadkin Snow passed away unexpectedly May 4, 2017 while caring for her mother in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Snow was born on Christmas Day 1951 in New York City and grew up on Manhattan’s east side where her talent at the piano won admission to the city’s renowned High School of Music and Art. She attended Emerson College in Boston, graduating with a degree in English in 1972 and moved to Los Angeles shortly thereafter. In 1974 she began working for Petersen Publishing where she met Denis Snow and they were married near her parents’ home in Florida on April 29, 1982. Bonnie enjoyed a career in sales and marketing with Petersen, radio station KKUR in Ventura and Borla Performance Industries in Oxnard. After relocating to Paso Robles in 2001 she volunteered at Loaves and Fishes and loved her church family at the Community Church of Atascadero.

Bonnie is predeceased by her father Ben and sister Ginny and survived by her mother Miriam and Denis.

Bonnie’s creative flair found everyday expression in her artistic embellishment of a greeting card, throwing a rock ‘n roll themed birthday party or organizing a gourmet picnic in the wine country she so loved. Her presence lives on in our memories of Bonnie’s unique spirit, generous heart and selfless devotion to her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Memorial donations may be made to Loaves and Fishes, 2650 Spring St., Paso Robles, CA 93446.
