Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast invites public to support ‘Club 66’

–Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast recently completed a merger agreement with a neighboring Boys & Girls Club organization in San Luis Obispo County in an effort to create a unified, more effective youth development organization on California’s Central Coast. BGCMCC’s Club 66 initiative pays homage to the organization’s founding year in 1966.

With a recurring monthly gift of $66, doors will remain open for thousands of local kids and teens on the Central Coast. Program sustainability is the foundation of this initiative.

BGCMCC’s club sites are safe havens for kids and teens to go to after school and during the summer months. Club 66 donors will support the award-winning youth development programming, nutritious meals and snacks offered daily, and teen-focused strategies to ensure on-time high school graduation.

“We offer a safe and fun environment where local kids and teens can be heard, encouraged to achieve their goals, and celebrated in their successes,” stated Jeremy Deming, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast.

BGCMCC has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from all backgrounds since 1966.
