Breadin’ Bros Racing, led by Paso Robles High School sophomore Aiden Ponti, participated in the 24 Hours of LeMons race this past weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway. Driving a 2005 Ford Mustang with a 4.0L V6 engine producing 210 horsepower, the team completed 219 laps, finishing 42nd overall and 17th in their class. The team also received the Organizer’s Choice Award.

Ponti’s interest in racing began in 2022 when he started watching Formula One, sparking his passion for motorsports. In October 2022, he attended his first 24 Hours of LeMons race, where teams race cars that have been given a second life on the track. Inspired by the event, Ponti decided to form his own team. In 2024, Ponti, his father, and a few of his father’s friends launched Breadin’ Bros Racing, sharing a passion for the track and a love of speed.

To fund the team, Ponti approached local Paso Robles businesses for sponsorships. The race team was made possible through the support of sponsors including JP Ag Services, Weyrick Trucking, Boneso Plumbing and Mechanical, Central Coast Barns and Buildings, Midcoast Mower and Saw, Mark’s Tire, Eagle Energy, Ferguson Waterworks, Third Wheel Tours, Heart Hero, Iron Wolf Coffee, and Paso Robles Towing.

Breadin’ Bros, founded by Ponti in 2023, is inspired by his love for fried chicken. Over the years, Ponti has experimented with various fried chicken recipes, leading to the creation of his business at age 14. His mission is to offer high-quality, natural ingredients and introduce a new gourmet fried chicken experience.

Breadin’ Bros products can be found at the Creston House and General Store, the General Store, and JDusi Winery.
