Today: Gov Newsom to visit San Luis Obispo and Ventura vaccination sites

–Following his visit to a Santa Clara County elementary school this morning, California Gov. Gavin Newsom will host a media event at vaccination sites in San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties to highlight the state’s efforts to ramp up vaccinations, which have now reached 9.3 million doses administered.

The governor recently visited mass vaccination and mobile sites in the Central Valley, Los Angeles, Hayward, Coachella, San Francisco, San Diego, and Santa Clara.

His appearance in SLO County, just announced at noon today, is at the San Luis Obispo County Vaccination Site at 3:30 p.m.

The event is only open to credentialed media. The visits will not be live-streamed, his office says.
