Update: Missing Paso Robles woman found

Joan Mello, a 61 year old female that was reported missing on Thursday, has been found today, Friday, April 10, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., Mello was located by Paso Robles Police Detectives in the 700 block of Gardenia Circle in Paso Robles. She was located in a grove of trees off a nearby walking path, and was initially unresponsive. Paso Robles Emergency Services arrived and provided Mello with first aid before she was transported to Twin Cities Community Hospital for further evaluation.

The Paso Robles Police Department would like to thank the California Highway Patrol for providing air support, and the San Luis Obispo Sheriff’s Department for activating their Search and Rescue team to assist in the search if needed.

The Paso Robles Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with locating an at-risk voluntary missing adult

Joan Mello, 61 years of age, was reported missing on April 9 at approximately 7 p.m.

Joan Mello, 61 years of age, was reported missing on Thursday, April 9 at approximately 7 p.m. Mello did not indicate where she may have been headed, did not take her wallet or cell phone with her, and does not own a vehicle. She reportedly left her residence on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

Mello is considered to be at-risk due to her age and other health related issues.
