    Brew at the Zoo returns with local wineries, breweries and distilleries 

    'Brew at the Zoo: Take Two' coming to Charles Paddock

    Proceeds benefit the zoo’s education and conservation programs

    – The City of Atascadero and the Central Coast Zoo will host the 12th annual “Brew at the Zoo” on Sept. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.

    The fundraiser will feature craft beer, wine, cider, seltzer and spirits from local and regional makers. Participating vendors include Ancient Peaks Winery of Santa Margarita, Black Market Spirits Central Coast, Bristol’s Hard Cider of Atascadero, Central Coast Brewing of San Luis Obispo, Eberle Winery of Paso Robles, Fig Mountain Brewing of Buellton, Firestone Walker Brewing of Paso Robles, Happy Dad Hard Seltzer of Orange County, Hunt Cellars of Templeton, Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards of Avila, Lone Madrone of Templeton, Maddox Meadery of Paso Robles, Marins Vineyard of Lockwood, MEA Wine of Atascadero, Oak and Otter Brewing Company of San Luis Obispo, Pizza Port Brewing of Solana Beach, Poisoned Apple of Atascadero, Shindig Cider of San Luis Obispo, SLO Cider of San Luis Obispo, Spent Grain Brewing of Atascadero, Tarantula Hill Brewing of Thousand Oaks, Vignerons Wine of Santa Barbara, and Wild Fields Brewhouse of Atascadero.

    Entertainment includes soloist Amar Singh Sohi, the Andrew Sedley Jazz Trio, and The Vibe Setters, along with a Medina Light Show. Games, a costume contest, a dance contest, and a hula hoop contest will also take place. Food vendors will offer tacos, quesadillas, Greek food, desserts, and more.

    Tickets are $40 online, $15 for designated drivers, and $50 at the gate if available. Proceeds will benefit the zoo’s education and conservation programs. Tickets are available at www.VisitAtascadero.com/BrewattheZoo.

    The Central Coast Zoo, accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, is home to more than 100 species including red pandas, monkeys, meerkats, and parrots.
