Brian Wilson coming to Mid-State Fair

–The California Mid-State Fair has announced that Brian Wilson has been confirmed to perform in concert Friday, July 29, 7 p.m. Special guests include Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. “Brian Wilson presents Pet Sounds” is the Fair’s annual “Evening of Music & Wine” concert, which will take place in the Main Grandstand Arena at the Paso Robles Event Center. The American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer best known for being the multi-tasking leader and co-founder of the Beach Boys.

Ticket prices for the show are $31-$61 and will go on sale Friday, June 10. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.MidStateFair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR, and at 1 p.m. at the California Mid-State Fair box office, located at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles, or at any ValliTix location.

The Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Tour will feature the entire Pet Sounds album. The album features a dozen originals, including two instrumentals. On the charts in America, the album reached #10.

The 2016 California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 through July 31. This year’s theme is “The Adventure Continues…”
