Building official Clyde Ganes retires

–At the most recent Paso Robes City Council meeting, Building Official Clyde Ganes was presented with a proclamation honoring his service to the City of Paso Robles and dedication to the Building Department. Clyde began as the Building Official in Jan. 2007, and has since dedicated himself to improving public safety.

At the most recent Paso Robes City Council meeting, Ganes was presented with a proclamation honoring his service to the City of Paso Robles and dedication to the building department.

Ganes has served the building community through mentoring other building inspectors, teaching courses on Building Codes at Cuesta Community College from 2003 to 2013, and serving on leadership for the local Chapter of the International Code. Clyde has volunteered throughout the community and has benefited the entire County through outreach projects and organizations. His involvement is shown through his participation in Rotary International, San Luis Obispo County Fish and Game Fines Commission, the Wounded Warrior Project, Boy Scouts of America, Crusin’ Morro Bay Car Shows, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Friends of Rollo, the Special Olympics, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, The Black Brant Group and church activities. Ganes is known for his passion and dedication, and for his determination to better his department to serve the community.
