By the Sea Productions stages ‘A Rock Sails By’
Performances kick off Aug. 30
– By the Sea Productions is presenting “A Rock Sails By,” a play written by Sean Grennan. The story follows a brilliant astrophysicist mourning the death of her husband and her estrangement from her daughter. The plot centers on a professional crisis when an online journalist misquotes her regarding an unidentified object hurtling toward Earth. The astrophysicist invites the journalist to monitor the mysterious object with her, leading to the discovery of unpredictable wonders beyond the stars.
The production is directed by Samvel Gottlieb and features performances by L. Kelty, Rick Bruce, Olivia Cusick, Jonah Duhe, and Lande Scott.
Performances are scheduled from Aug. 30 through Sept. 15, with shows on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. The play will be held at 545 Shasta Ave. in Morro Bay. Tickets can be purchased at bytheseaproductions.org or by calling (805) 776-3287.
