By the Sea Productions to premiere original play

‘Dahl’s Darlings’ will be performed Jan. 17-19
– By the Sea Productions will premiere an original play, “Dahl’s Darlings,” adapted from two Roald Dahl short stories. Written by Samvel Gottlieb and directed by Madison Wethington, the staged reading combines Dahl’s “Lamb to the Slaughter” and “The Way Up to Heaven,” both of which center on two docile wives who take control of their destinies in unexpected ways.
The cast includes Jim Allen, Larry Bolef, Alyza Boriphanvichitr, Olivia Cusick, Jonah Duhe, Kate Kravets, Randall Lyon, and Topher Lyons.
“Dahl’s Darlings” will be performed Jan. 17-19 at 545 Shasta Ave. in Morro Bay. Tickets are $15. Reservations can be made online at bytheseaproductions.org or by calling (805) 776-3287.
