– Cal Poly’s Office of Research has awarded $361,943 to 27 faculty projects through the 2025–26 Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant program, the university announced this week.
The grant program supports research, discovery, integration, application, and engagement in the context of teaching and learning. It is funded in collaboration with the Office of the Provost.
“I’m deeply grateful to the faculty panel for their thoughtful and rigorous evaluation of these impressive proposals. Thanks to their work, we are able to support truly outstanding and impactful projects that showcase the excellence and innovation of our faculty,” said Dean Wendt, Cal Poly’s interim associate vice provost of research.
The program received 90 proposals. Awards were based on evaluation criteria outlined in the Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant Request for Proposals and guided by the rankings of the Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant Review Panel.
“The strength of proposals submitted to Cal Poly internal funding programs is increasing, and the projects selected are of the highest quality,” said Phil Costanzo, chair of the review panel.
A list of the awarded projects is available on Cal Poly’s Office of Research website.
