Calcareous Vineyards pours at Liquid Asset Cellar’s event
–On Thursday evening, March 9, Liquid Asset Cellars in North Hollywood, California hosted a private event with John Teeling, hospitality/sales manager for Calcareous Vineyards, pouring five wines for a select group of Southern California wine aficionados.
Calcareous, one of Paso’s many fine wineries, was pleased to pour a sampling of their wines for out of the area wine lovers. Over the past five years Liquid Assets has proven to be an excellent showcase for many of Paso Robles’ winemakers and wineries.
Liquid Asset Cellars is a private, member only social club, full service wine cellar storage facility and wine room design center located in North Hollywood. Past private events featuring Paso Robles wineries have included: Caliza, Alta Colina, Falcone, Law Family Vineyards, Torrin, Nicora, and Clos Solene, to name only a few. Liquid Assets is doing their part to bring the magic of Paso Robles wines to Southern California wine lovers.
Wines being sampled Thursday evening included: 2014 York Mountain chardonnay, 2013 Tres Violet (SF Chronicle Gold Medal winner), 2012 Estate cabernet sauvignon (Wine Spectator 90 points), 2012 Lloyd (a Bordeaux blend named in honor of the wineries founder-Wine Spectator 90 points) and a sneak peek of the 2013 Moose (a syrah/petite verdot blend, scheduled for April release).
“It was such a pleasure to have a bit of Paso Robles come to us! We have a special place in our hearts for the wines of that region but in particular for Calcareous wines,” Barbara Cohen of Sherman Oaks said. “They never disappoint and always delight the palate. The atmosphere at LAC is always fun and welcoming. Our thanks to Kevin Jones for hosting these great Paso tasting events.”
