California Mid-State Fair announces 2026 theme
Theme marks the fair’s 80th anniversary on the Central Coast
– The California Mid-State Fair has announced its theme for 2026, marking the event’s 80th anniversary.
The theme, Back to the 80’s, commemorates eight decades of the fair’s presence on the Central Coast and will guide décor, promotions, and interactive elements throughout the fairgrounds.
Fair officials said the theme will also shape Community Exhibits competitions, providing a framework for exhibitors of all ages and skill levels. Organizers said the theme is intended to inspire participation across exhibit categories, including entries from first-time exhibitors and returning participants.
“Celebrating 80 years is a meaningful moment for the California Mid-State Fair, and Back to the 80’s gives us a fun and engaging way to honor our past while looking ahead,” said Colleen Bojorquez, Chief Executive Officer. “This theme invites our community to get creative, have fun, and be part of a shared celebration that reflects the spirit of the Fair.”
Additional details related to themed décor, promotions, interactive experiences, and Community Exhibits signups will be announced in the coming months.
The 2026 California Mid-State Fair is scheduled to take place July 15 through July 26 at the Paso Robles Event Center, located at 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles.
