How interesting that they have chosen to have this forum on same night Paso is having a city council meeting to again raise our water rates above and beyond our 4-5 year plan to increase rates! If you plan on going to the forum, I urge to to think twice and go to city.council meeting instead. Nice smoke and mirrors Paso admin.
What is actual date…..tonight or next Tuesday?
Hello Sue. The meeting is tonight, Jan. 19.
Since one regards CITY property owners and one is information for COUNTY land owners, what is the problem??
Since one regards CITY property owners and one is information for COUNTY land owners, what is the problem??
Dana Howard Lundy, the problem is we all take water out of the SAME basin. City or county users. For the people that find both issues important, this is a very big problem.
Lenore Brown one meeting has to do with rate hikes for city dwellers which does not impact county land owners unless they reside in the city and one was a discussion regarding county land owner water rights. Both water, but effecting different sets of people.
Dana Howard Lundy yes, I know this. However, if county owners have a paso address they will fall under paso water district if wells get metered. All our water comes from the Salinas river and surrounding water shed. We all drink from the same pond.
