Canzona Women’s Ensemble plans auditions for fall concert
Ensemble seeks women with previous choral experience
– Canzona Women’s Ensemble will hold auditions for its fall concert, “Winter Reverie,” on Aug. 20 in San Luis Obispo and Aug. 22 in Shell Beach.
Auditions are open to women with previous choral experience. The ensemble seeks singers with musicality, dedication, and an interest in contributing to the group.
Each audition will include a prepared solo piece of the singer’s choice, sight-reading exercises, and an exploration of the singer’s vocal range.
Canzona Women’s Ensemble is a San Luis Obispo County women’s choral group that performs two concerts each season, one in the fall and one in the spring. The group collaborates with Central Coast poets, composers, dancers, and musicians.
