Car crashes off roadway in Avila Beach
Two occupants of the vehicle reported minor injuries
– A gray Mercedes hatchback went off Avila Beach Drive and onto the rocks near Olde Port Beach on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 2:01 p.m. when the vehicle reportedly collided with a white Mini Cooper before leaving the roadway, landing about 20 to 30 feet down, according to a report by the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
Two occupants were seen attempting to exit the vehicle at 2:02 p.m., according to the CHP’s traffic incident information page. The occupants reported minor injuries, the report said.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene at 2:11 p.m.
