Car drives on to church lawn, crashes into sign

– A white sedan ran across the front lawn of Grace Baptist Church on the corner of Creston Road and Shannon Hill at about 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.

The driver had a medical issue that might have contributed to the accident, according to Paso Robles Police Lieutenant Ty Lewis. This resulted in a single vehicle collision into a tree and stop sign and complaint of pain type injuries from the driver.

San Luis Ambulance responded to the scene, but according to Lewis, the driver sought her own medical treatment.

The accident is still under investigation. No further information about the incident is available.
