Career tech programs expand opportunities for Paso Robles students
School district offers 15 career pathways for students
– The Paso Robles Joint Unified School District offers 15 career technical education pathways, providing students with more than 51 courses. Of these, 22 are dual-enrolled with Cuesta College, and 37 meet the UC/CSU A-G college admission requirements. Many of the courses provide access to industry-recognized certifications and registered pre-apprenticeship programs.
The district’s vision is to ensure every student is prepared for college, career, and community. These pathways equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the workforce, community college, and university, positioning them to succeed in high-demand, high-wage industries.

The district is also seeking community input on the future of its programs, including plans for expansion into junior high school programs and beyond. The public is encouraged to complete the CTE input and feedback survey.
