Cartoonist Leigh Rubin to present ‘Think Like a Cartoonist’ at library

Leigh Rubin’s presentation will explore concepts from his latest book, ‘Think Like a Cartoonist’
– Internationally syndicated cartoonist Leigh Rubin, known for his long-running cartoon series “Rubes,” will present his program “Think Like a Cartoonist” at the Paso Robles City Library on Nov. 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will offer an interactive session that provides a look into the creative mind behind the comic strip “Rubes,” which has featured humorous takes on everyday situations, animals, and human behavior for over three decades.
Rubin’s presentation will explore concepts from his latest book, “Think Like a Cartoonist,” focusing on how people can harness their creativity and humor. During the event, Rubin will share stories, give insights into the world of cartooning, and display some of his most popular comics.
The event is free, but registration is required. It will be held at the Paso Robles City Library, located at 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, Calif. Following the presentation, signed copies of “Think Like a Cartoonist” will be available for purchase.
Rubin, whose work has been syndicated in newspapers worldwide since 1978, is known for his clever and often absurd takes on life. He frequently speaks at educational and creative conferences, sharing his perspective on thinking outside the box.
