CASA receives donation from Heart to Heart Real Estate

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of San Luis Obispo County recently received a donation of $500 from Heart to Heart Real Estate to support the CASA program in San Luis Obispo County. The donation was generated when CASA volunteer Deborah Skinner purchased office space in Atascadero in El Morro Plaza. Deborah Skinner is a Certified Public Accountant.

CASA of SLO County is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system. CASA of SLO County recruits and trains volunteer advocates who are paired with individual children to learn their situations and stand up for their needs. CASA of SLO County is a local partner of National CASA, which oversees a network of more than 1,050 local community program offices. Heart to Heart Real Estate donates 50-percent of their commissions to the charity or nonprofit of their clients’ choice.
