CASA training sessions scheduled
–Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA, will be offering a training for new volunteers in North County in the fall so have started promoting this and will have info sessions in north county in August and September.
CASA Information Sessions for August 2017
· Wednesday, Aug. 9, 6:30 p.m. – Starbucks, 7029 El Camino Real, Atascadero
· Wednesday, Aug. 23, noon – CASA office, 75 Higuera Street, Suite 180, San Luis Obispo
Learn more about volunteer opportunities at CASA of SLO County by attending an Information Session – become an advocate for an abused or neglected infant, toddler, child or teen, or a mentor for a former foster child who has asked for support. Training class for new volunteers starts in October in the North County.
