Cava Robles RV resort to begin construction

Sun Communities close to breaking ground on 327 space, upscale recreation vehicle resort
–Sun Communities is close to breaking ground on a 327 space, upscale recreation vehicle (RV) resort located at the north end of Golden Hill Road along Huer Huero Creek. The project originally approved in 2004, was amended in 2012, and has been refined to enhance the architecture, on-site amenities and reduce conflicts with the residential neighborhood.
Oak tree protection is an important part of the project, Paso Robles City staff and the project arborist toured the site recently to review oak tree maintenance trimming and protection fencing requirements prior to construction. The arborist will begin maintenance trimming operation and tree protection fencing next week. Construction and site grading are expected to start in July once the tree protection and biologic surveys are completed.
The project is estimated to be complete by 2017 and will be the premier RV facility in the San Luis Obispo County. The facility will generate significant transient occupancy tax revenues for the city.
This is going to be a great RV Resort location. No highway noise. Set bank in the rolling hills of eastside Paso.

Paso Robles citizens would be interested to know how much water will be consumed by this project and its yearly visitors in exchange for those significant tax dollars…..
Water and oak preservation….none. Money instead of reason as usual by the myopic visionaries who are not thinking of or understanding the future.

I think this will be a wonderful addition to the community. The water consumption should be monitored and appropriate charges applied to usage.
