Celebrate Jólabókaflóð at the library

iceland books christmas at the paso robles library

–In Iceland, it is tradition to give those you love a book on Dec. 24. After everyone gets their new books, they all climb in bed early and stay up late into the night reading. On Monday, Dec. 24, from 2-4 p.m., celebrate Jólabókaflóð at the library with a bookmark craft you can give as a gift to someone you love or keep for your own night of reading! All children making a bookmark will also get their very own book for Jólabókaflóð.

Supplies are limited, so come early! The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit
