Central Coast Pastel Artists display versatility in library

Pastel Artists-BraunArtists will be featured at the Paso Robles City Library in May

–This May the Pastel Artists of the Central Coast are featured at the Paso Robles City Library. Their works include a wide variety of subject matter including landscapes, portraits, still life, nature studies and more.

Artists Carolyn Braun, Virginia Guffey, Shelley Snow, Ginger Toomer and Priscilla White are drawn together by their love of art, and the versatile medium of pastel.

Pastels contain pigments (dry color that is capable of a range of effects), that create brilliant color that does not yellow with time while creating a velvety matte surface unlike any other medium.

    The Paso Robles City Library, 1000 Spring Street, Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
