Central Coast Planet Fitness locations hosting school supply drive
Multiple North County locations accepting donations through Aug. 1
– Planet Fitness and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mid Central Coast have joined forces for a back-to-school supply drive for the 2024-2025 school year to ensure children within the community are set up to succeed academically.
As of July 19, participating Planet Fitness locations will be collecting new school supplies for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mid Central Coast. The community is encouraged to stop by the participating Planet Fitness locations to donate items such as backpacks, lined notebooks, #2 pencils, pens, crayons, glue sticks, calculators, erasers, rulers, and other essential items through Aug. 1.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mid Central Coast will host events on Aug. 2 at two of their club locations for its members to collect their school supplies. The Planet Fitness team will be in attendance, distributing free PF swag.
Planet Fitness is proud to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America as part of the brand’s national philanthropic initiative, The Judgement Free Generation, which aims to prevent bullying and promote kindness. Since 2016, together with its franchisees, members, and partners, Planet Fitness has contributed more than $8 million to support anti-bullying, pro-kindness initiatives.
