Central Coast tech mixer returns to Atascadero this Tuesday

    – The Central Coast Tech Networking Mixer will wrap up its 2025 season on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 5:30 p.m., returning to BridgeWorks in downtown Atascadero for its final event of the year.

The mixer series launched in fall 2024 and has drawn more than 350 attendees from across San Luis Obispo County. Participants have included tech professionals, entrepreneurs, and remote workers. The gatherings are hosted by Albert’s List with support from the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and BridgeWorks.

“It’s been incredible to see how much momentum this event has built,” said Albert Qian, founder of Albert’s List. “Every month, new faces show up — people building apps, running businesses, or just wanting to get out of the house and meet others who work in tech or creative fields. It’s a special thing we have going here on the Central Coast.”

Attendees at past mixers have included cybersecurity analysts, software engineers, quality assurance professionals, marketing managers, program managers, app founders, corporate recruiters, and small business owners. Conversations have covered topics such as AI advancements, product launches, local projects, and job hunting tips. At the most recent mixer, Atascadero mayor Charles Bourbeau attended and spoke with participants about chickens.

Organizers said the December mixer is an opportunity to close out the year. “If your goal for 2025 was to meet people, learn new things, or discover what’s happening in tech, this is your last chance to do it,” Qian said.

Pizza from Fatte’s Pizza will be provided. Drinks can be purchased next door at Wild Fields Brewhouse.

    Registration is available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/central-coast-holiday-tech-networking-mixer-tickets-1868356327069?aff=oddtdtcreator.

The event is free and open to the public.
