    Central Coast Weavers Guild to host annual sale and showcase 

    Showcase will feature handwoven clothing, household items, gifts, and a gallery exhibition

    – The Central Coast Weavers Guild will hold its 18th Annual Sale and Guild Showcase from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9 at The Strawbale Barn Weaving Studio, 9156 Santa Margarita Road in Atascadero.

    The event will open Friday, Nov. 7, with a reception and sale from 1 to 6 p.m. Hours will continue on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    The showcase will feature handwoven clothing, household items, gifts and a gallery exhibition of crafted handwoven items such as wall displays, clothing and jewelry. Looms and spinning wheels will be on display, and weaving and spinning demonstrations will take place throughout the weekend.

    All items available for purchase or display, whether woven, spun, felted, braided or knit, are locally handcrafted by members of the Central Coast Weavers. Fiber artists participating in the event live in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County, including Santa Maria, Solvang and Santa Ynez.
