Chamber-backed leadership program begins new recruitment cycle
Leadership North County opens applications on May 21
– Leadership North County, a leadership development program supported by the Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce, will begin accepting applications for its next cohort on May 21.
The program includes a weekend retreat and nine full-day workshops held monthly. Participants will engage with local professionals and community members to develop leadership skills and examine regional issues and opportunities.
“Leadership development isn’t just about personal growth—it’s about building a stronger, more resilient community,” said Gina Fitzpatrick, president and chief executive officer of the Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce. “We invite local businesses and organizations to bring forward their most exceptional team members to be part of this unique journey.”
Applications will be available at leadershipnorthcounty.com starting May 21. Individuals may apply directly or be referred by employers, colleagues or community leaders. An interview process will follow each application, and selected participants will be notified upon acceptance.
To participate, applicants must commit to the weekend retreat, attend nine full-day workshops, and complete possible outside assignments. Employer support is required to ensure full participation. Leadership experience is not a requirement. The program is open to individuals at any professional stage who are interested in developing leadership potential. Additional information about dates and requirements is available on the application.
Leadership North County is entering its seventh year. The program focuses on key industries, community needs, and leadership growth throughout northern San Luis Obispo County.
