Chamber of Commerce hosting SBA loan webinar for members on Friday

–The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a free Webinar for chamber members where local experts will be providing up to date and reliable information on the various SBA programs designed to help your business through turbulent waters.

The webinar is happening Friday, April 17 from 2-3 p.m. Click here to register.

The chamber will be featuring the following two panelists:

Tim Dossa has over 20 years of accounting experience including 19 years with a Fortune Top 10 company. He is now a consultant at Glenn Burdette which specializes in assisting businesses right here on the Central Coast. Dossa can answer your questions regarding a broad range of topics including accounting, process improvement, automation, innovation, technology and change management and more.

Judy Mahan has a dual role as the Incubator Director for Cal Poly CIE at the HotHouse and the Director of the Small Business Development Center. At the SBDC, Judy manages the pool of expert consultants who support SBDC clients. Judy and her team have been pivotal in connecting small businesses with financial assistance during the COVID crisis.

Update April 16 from the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce:

The EIDL and PPP applications are paused as of 10 a.m. April 16. The SBA will not accept any more applications until more funding is appropriated by the Treasury. Any EIDL and PPP applicants who have already submitted their applications will continue to be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. You will not have to re-apply if you have already submitted it. As soon as we learn more, we will let you know.

With this in mind, Governor Newsom announced that Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), for sole proprietors and independent contractors applications, will be available starting April 28. Applicants will be issued checks within 24 – 48 hours.
